What We Do

Quake meets weekly from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

All 7th-12th graders will gather for worship and a lesson at 6:00 p.m. in the Upper Room, and students will have an opportunity to purchase pizza and pop at the snack shack before heading to life groups (divided by grade, and some by gender) at 7:00 p.m.  Because there is no time for free time in this schedule, fellowship night will be an evening of games and free dinner for all students.  We will also open the gym for free time at 5:30 p.m. each week.

Life Groups

All of our students who attend Quake on Sunday nights are part of a life group that meets weekly to grow closer to one another.  We have seen the fruit of this emphasis and believe that students’ gathering in small groups for fellowship and accountability is a key to growing as disciples.

Worship

When our students come to Quake, they have the opportunity to worship and learn with their peers.  All of our 7th-12th graders worship together each week, and this gives them the chance to praise, learn, and be challenged together on the same page.  Weekly worship is what binds our youth group together and makes us of one mind.

Fellowship

Our monthly “fellowship nights” for all students are a high point of Quake for our students.  Each month, it is refreshing and fun to see our entire student body gather together for fellowship and a meal.  Once a month, students will share a meal together and have an evening of games.  This is a great night to invite friends who may not be willing to come on a regular night of Quake, and it also allows our students to develop unity through having fun together.

There are any other aspects of Quake that are central to do what we do, but we believe that these three elements are the common thread which brings us all together.  We can’t wait to see you on Sunday!
