Learn
Purpose: Understanding who God created you to be and become in Christ
On this week we will focus on a message from Scripture, worship, games, and special activities. Our focus this year is the Story of God throughout the Old and New Testament.
“The scriptures point toward Jesus” John 5:39
Become
Purpose: Using your talents to glorify God
The second rotation involves workshops based around helping students and find things they are passionate about. Take a look at Outbreak Workshop Ideas to help us in any way you can!
“You are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
Enjoy
Purpose: Enjoying who you are in Christ
We will continue our series from “LEARN nights” with a lesson and worship, and play some fun games like kickball, four square, dodgeball, tag, and have some free time to enjoy everything God has given us.
“[Your] trust should be in God, who richly give us
all we need for our enjoyment.” 1st Timothy 6:17
Serve
Purpose: Showing Christ’s love in serving
The students will do acts of love and kindness towards others during this week. We will play games together and then do a service project together (such as baking cookies for care packages, making fleece blankets, cards to military or nursing home patients, or gathering items for the food pantry). Unless otherwise noted, these activities will take place at church. We also participate in Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child to help give gifts to children around the world and share the love of Jesus with others!
“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety
of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” 1 Peter 4:10
